This kit was developed with the goal to design a slim loudspeaker with a lot of bass. The upper part is quite narrow while the lower part - where it's less noticeable - accommodates the subwoofer. The MHE 280 midrange / tweeter unit has its own crossover. Both bass drivers (left and right) are driven by a Mivoc subwoofer module AM 120, fitted in a separate case.

Excerpt of a review in K+T 1/2006:

"First we checked up on the stereo qualities of this new K+T creation in our Home Cinema listening room. It was to be expected that this speaker couldn't reproduce large orchestra works like high-end speakers. When not played too loud it was, however, a pleasure to listen to rock and rap. Metal rap by Disturbed, R&B; by Destiny's Child or German hip-hop by Seeed even kept the "elderly" glued to their seats. Katie Melua's vocals were maybe a little too harsh when she sang the Canned Heat classic "On The Road Again"; bass and drums, however, were convincing. " ....
